Woman, 3 children martyred in Indian firing on Sialkot boundary

PESHAWAR: Four civilians have martyred and 10 others were injured in indiscriminate firing of Indian troops on the Working Boundary in Sialkot on Friday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian troops targeted civilian population on the Working Boundary in Sialkot. It said a woman and three children have been martyred in the Indian firing so far, while 10 others are injured.

The ISPR said the Punjab Rangers are giving befitting reply to the Indian firing and targeting the check posts from where the firing is coming. Intermittent firing continues in the area.

The Foreign Office (FO) said the acting foreign secretary summoned the Indian high commissioner and condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian forces along the Line of Control (LoC) and WB.
