Truck loaded with relief items for returnees ransacked in Bara

BARA, 21 November: Unidentified persons on Saturday here ransacked a truck full of relief goods meant for the displaced persons of Kamarkhel tribe.

According to a spokesperson of the Fata Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) relief items which included edibles such as wheat flour, pulses, ghee were being transported to Kamarkhel area in a truck. “When the truck reached Malakdin Khel area, unidentified persons ransacked it and looted all the rations,” he told.

Security forces, after the incident, started a search operation in the area.

According to local administration more than 64000 displaced families have returned to Bara tensile since the repatriation started in March this year.
