Sewing machines, wheelchairs distributed among 80 special persons in Khyber Agency

JAMRUD, 03 December: Social Welfare Department of FATA Secretariat has distributed sewing machines and wheelchairs among 80 special persons including men and women in a ceremony held in Jamrud Jirga Hall Jamrud in  Khyber Agency on Tuesday morning.
Talking to TNN on the occasion, Director of the Social Welfare Department Fazal Khaliq said that purpose of distributing the machines and wheelchairs among the special persons was to encourage them and make them able to earn their bread with respect and dignity.
Meanwhile, some elders raised objections over the distribution process of machines and wheelchairs among the women and walked out of the hall in protest.
