PESHAWAR: Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has expressed hope that the team will show good performance in second match against New Zealand and will not repeat mistakes.

Talking to media in New Zealand on Saturday, Sarfaraz Ahmed said Pakistan dropped crucial catches and also lost early wickets while chasing a massive target of 316 due to which the team came under pressure. He said the team will try hard to win the second match.

Meanwhile, New Zealand Captain Kane Williamson said Pakistan’s strategy was good in the first match. However, he said New Zealand utilised the conditions well to win the match.

The second match of the five-match ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played on Tuesday at Nelson.
