Policeman injured in Bannu firing

BANNU, 6 December: A policeman was injured in firing of unknown armed men in the limits of the Kaki Police Station in Bannu on Tuesday.

Policeman Ghulam Ishaq was on his way when unknown gunmen opened fire at him on Dua Sarak area near Pir Kakikhel, leaving him injured. The assailants fled the scene after attacking the policeman.

The locals shifted the injured policeman to the District Headquarters Hospital where his condition was stated to be out of danger.
