Police recover abducted transgender person, held three kidnappers

PESHAWAR: The police on Tuesday claimed to have recovered the kidnapped transgender person who was kidnapped last night from Nasirbagh locality and arrested three kidnappers.

The police said that four transgender people along with a DJ team were returning late night from a music party in the locality.

They said that when they reached Sakhi Pul, five motorcyclists intercepted them and kidnapped a transgender person apart from looting Rs25000 from them.

They said that a police party conducted raids and arrested three kidnappers. The kidnapped transgender person alleged that he was sexually abused during the detention.
