PML-Q, renegade PML-N members field Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo as CM Balochistan candidate

QUETTA: The renegade members of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) in Balochistan Assembly have fielded Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo for chief ministership of the province.

According to media reports, the opposition parties have also assured support to Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo. The nomination of Mr Bizenjo was announced for former chief minister Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali on Thursday. Mr Bizenjo is associated with the PML-Q and he was elected as member of the Balochistan Assembly from Awaran.

The Balochistan Assembly will elect new chief minister after ex-CM Sanaullah Zehri resigned ahead of a no-confidence motion against him by opposition members and some of his own party members.
