Peshawar Zalmi retain Darren Sammy as captain for PSL-3

PESHAWAR, 12 November: Peshawar Zalmi have announced to retain Darren Sammy as captain of the team for the next edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi said his team won the previous edition of the PSL due to brilliant captaincy of Darren Sammy. He said Sami’s captaincy was also instrumental in the victory of West Indies in two T20 world cups. He said Sammy is a brilliant leader in and off the field and all the players are united under his captaincy.

The drafting of the players for PSL-3 will be held today (Sunday). Every team will select 20 players from 501 players available in the drafting.

With the inclusion of Multan Sultans in the PSL-3 now six teams will participate in the contest.
