Peshawar police resolve murder mystery of two sisters, nabbed two

PESHAWAR: Peshawar Cantonment Police have resolved mystery of murder of two sisters in Pushtakhara locality and arrested two persons including a lawyer.

The police said that the lawyer had tied know with one of the sisters secretly. Sharing details, the police said that both sisters identified as 22-year old Shazia and Noor Zia, 32, were gunned down in the jurisdiction of Pushtakhara police station.

None of the relatives have registered the case after which the police become party and registered case against unknown persons.

During investigation, the police came to know that Shazia had married secretly with Majid Kareem, a resident of Tehkal who was present when they were killed.

he was arrested along with accomplice Muhammad Bilal and recovered the vehicle used in the crime.

Sajid revealed, during investigation, that Shazia was blackmailing that she would make her marriage public and would make undue demands.

Fed up with her blackmailing, he planned along with his friend to kill her. He said that he took her with her sister to take them around the city and on way shot them dead.
