Parliamentary delegation praises peaceful environment in North Waziristan

MIRANSHAH, 7 December: A parliamentary delegation visited Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan Agency, on Wednesday where they were briefed about security situation in the region.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), members of the parliamentary committee on defence were part of the delegation who appreciated the role of the Pakistan Army for bringing peace in North Waziristan.

The visiting parliamentarians were briefed on military operation in North Waziristan, security measures at the Pak-Afghan border and programmes initiated for socio-economic development in FATA.
