Parents of twin sisters born with joined heads appeals for financial help

CHARSADDA: Parents of the twin sisters born with joined heads in Charsadda district of Khyber Pakhtnkhwa awaiting government financial help and appealed Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to bear treatment cost of their daughters.

Talking to Tribal News Network, parents of the twins, Safa and Marwa said that their treatment was possible in the United Kingdom that would cost them Rs160 million.

They said that the UK government had promised to bear half of the cost and said that former prime minister had promised to provide financial help for their treatment.

Twins’ mother said that the former PM has forgotten his promise and appealed Chief Minister Pervez Khattak to extend financial help for treatment of her daughters. Meternal uncle of the twins said that doctors in Pakistan told that Safa and Marwa’s treatment was possible in the UK.
