PESHAWAR: The Awami National Party (ANP) president Asfandyar Wali Khan has said the Pakhtun areas of Balochistan should also be made part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Addressing a lawyers convention in Peshawar on Saturday, Asfandyar Wali Khan said he is unable to understand the logic of the federal government behind not merging FATA with KP. He said the government had formed a committee for bringing reforms in FATA, and now it is not implementing recommendations of its own committee. He said the committee members should resign if their recommendations are not being implemented.

The ANP chief said former police officer Rao Anwar also killed many other innocent Pakhtuns besides killing Naqeebullah Mehsud from South Waziristan. He said Rao Anwar should be asked who instructed him to kill innocent Pakhtuns.
