Three injured in hand grenade blasts in Khyber Agency

BARA, 18 November: Three persons including a woman, sustained injuries in two separate incidents of hand grenade blasts in Khyber Agency on Wednesday.

The first incident happened in Nari Baba area of Bara sub-division where a volunteer of the pro-government militia, Tauheedul Islam, Syed Anwar was present in a trench in the morning when a hand grenade went off accidently, leaving him injured.

In another incident, a man hurled a hand grenade over his father over a domestic dispute in Karmana area of Landikotal tehsil. The father and mother of the accused sustained injuries in the incident.
