One killed, another injured in Bannu firing

BANNU: One person was killed, while another was injured in a firing incident in Bannu on Friday.

Police said the incident happened in Hanjal Gate area where unknown armed men on a motorcycle opened fire on two people riding a motorcycle. One person died on the spot, while another sustained injuries, who was taken to hospital.

Meanwhile, two alleged terrorists were arrested in two separate actions by police in Bannu.

The arrested terrorists were allegedly involved in attacks on security forces and other acts of terrorism. The arrested terrorists were taken to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
