One injured in Landikotal blast

LANDIKOTAL, 3 November: One person was injured in a bomb blast in Landikotal, Khyber Agency, on Friday.

Khassadar Force said the blast occurred in a vehicle in Nagar Kosa area in the morning and the injured person was taken to Agency Headquarters Hospital. Further investigations into the blast are continuing.

The security forces cordoned off the area after the blast and launched search operation.

Earlier, a labourer died in a blast at a steel mill in Gadoon Industrial Estate in Swabi on Thursday.

Police said the labourers were working in discarded items when an explosive device exploded on them, leaving one labourer, Zahid dead on the spot.
