ISLAMABAD, August 11: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday submitted the nomination papers of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife Kalsoom Nawaz for NA-120.

Her nomination papers were filed by Asif Kirmani and Captain Safdar for the upcoming by-polls at Election Commission of Pakistan Lahore office.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Dr Yasmin Rashid also submitted her nomination papers at the office.

Talking to reporters outside the office, Karmani said that PML-N voters have defeated you in local government elections, in Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections. “NA-120 will prove to be a waterloo for Imran Khan and opponents of Nawaz Sharif,” Karmani said.

NA-120 has fallen vacant after the Supreme Court of Pakistan has disqualified Nawaz Sharif for not being honest and sagacious.
