Lawyers, JI women wing demand justice for Zainab

PESHAWAR: Jamaat-e-Islami women wing and lawyers of Peshawar High Court on Thursday staged a protest against rape and murder of seven-year old Zainab in Kasur city of Punjab and demanded of the government to arrest the killers immediately.

Lawyers and JI women activists staged protest on Khyber Road and were holding placards and banners demanding justice for Zainab.

The protesting lawyers also asked the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for tough legislation to contain such soul-wrenching incident that has shocked the whole country.

They demanded immediate arrest of the killer and should be awarded exemplary punishment so that no one could dare in future to commit such crime.

JI women activists gathered at Archive Library and demanded the toughest punishment for them.
