KP Govt asks citizens to avoid one-wheeling, aerial firing on Eid
June 22, 2017

PESHAWAR, 22 June: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department on Thursday asked the citizens to avoid one wheeling of bikes and aerial firing on the occasion of Eid.
Addressing a press conference, health department Director General Shabina Raza said 4500 cases of accidents were reported across the province last year in which 72 people were killed. She said that 73 percent cases out of 4500 were motorcycles accidents and one wheeling.
The DG Health asked the traffic police to adopt comprehensive steps to prevent one-wheeling on the occasion of Eid.
She said that doctors, nurses and other staff will be on 24 hours duty during Eid holidays to serve people.
