Govt announces zero load-shedding on 63 percent feeders

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Power Owais Laghari has announced to end load management on more than 5000 feeders after which 15 million power consumers would not experience power outages.

Addressing a press conference here, he said under the new arrangements more than he said that 60 percent of all feeders would be free from power cuts.

He said that 236 out of 8600 feeders were observing zero-loadshedding while 63 percent would become load-shedding-free.

The Minister added that the ruling party was taking all out steps to fulfill all its promises including ridding the country of power outages. “There is 16477 MW electricity is being generated on Sunday including 2,700MW surplus,” he said.
