Good ties with Afghanistan in interest of both countries: Shah Jee

LANDIKOTAL: Member National Assembly from Khyber Agency Al-Haaj Shah Jee Gul Afridi has said good ties with Afghanistan are in the interest of both the countries.

Addressing a public meeting in Landikotal on Saturday, Shah Jee said a committee has been formed by the government for talks with Afghan officials. He said the committee includes parliamentarians and representatives from all the provinces. He said he is also a member of the committee. He said the committee members will travel to Kabul via road from Torkham and will hold talks with Afghan officials for revival of ties.

The lawmaker from Khyber Agency said a university will be established in Khyber tribal region soon. He said a dry port of international standard like Karachi and Port Qasim will be established in Landikotal.

Shah Jee also inaugurated an irrigation scheme in Landikotal has cost Rs600,000.
