Four women killed as wagon plunges into ravine in Landikotal

LANDIKOTAL, 17 March: Four women were killed and eight other people sustained injuries when a wagon vehicle carrying wedding guests plunged into a deep ravine in the remote area of Kam-Shelman area of tehsil Landi Kotal on Wednesday.
According to Khyber Agency political administration, the ill-fated tribesmen, loaded in wagon while returning back to Landikotal from Peshawar when the driver lost control due to over seeding while negotiating a dangerous curve and fell into a deep ravine near Kam-Shelman area.
The administration said that the four women were dead on the spot adding that three of deceased women belong to the same family. The eight injured people include five children. The injured were shifted to Peshawar hospital from Landikotal due to critical health condition.
