PESHAWAR, 17 March: At least four militants killed in Pakistan Army air strikes targeting militants’ hideouts in Rajgal Valley in Khyber Agency here on Friday, claims ISPR.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the air strikes targeted several hideouts of militants in Rajgal Valley near the Pak-Afghan border in Khyber Agency. ISPR said that several hideouts of militants were also destroyed during the air strikes.
The military’s media wing further said that several militants were also injured in the air strikes. The action was taken on a tip-off regarding presence of Lashkar-e-Islam chief Mangal Bagh, ISPR added.
Militants still maintain some hideouts close to the Pak-Afghan border. The anti-terror operation has squeezed some militants groups into small pockets of territory, while others have fled over the border into lawless areas of eastern Afghanistan.
Earlier today, eight terrorists were killed and three security personnel embraced martyrdom in two separate incidents.
