Crackdown launched against unregistered medical practitioners in Kurram

PARACHINAR, 21 October: The political administration on Saturday sealed two clinics run by two female unregistered medical practitioners and arrested six fake doctors.

Besides, the administration also sealed more than 15 medical stores for they failed to show license and arrested five persons for selling substandard medicines.

A team of the administration led by assistant political agent Tariq Hassan said that two females Humaira and Rabea who introduced themselves as doctors failed to prove their academic qualification.

The team also recovered fake and expired medicines from various medical stores and arrested its owners.
