Chief Secretary takes notice of non-payment of salaries to teachers appointed through NTS

PESHAWAR, 13 November: Taking notice of non-payment of salaries to the teachers appointed through National Testing Service (NTS), the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Secretary Muhammad Azam Khan has directed the authorities of Elementary & Secondary Education to submit a detail report within three days positively.

The said teachers were appointed through National Testing Services some eight months ago. They are serving the department since then, but were not paid due to official complications. Some of them highlighted their problem via social media and appealed for the solutions.

The Chief Secretary noted the complaint and directed the authorities of the Education Department for immediate action and fixing the responsibilities within three days.
