Two bombers killed as soldiers foil attack on check post in Tirah

BARA, 14 July: Two security personnel were injured in an attack on a check post in Tirah area of Khyber Agency, while two suicide bombers were killed in retaliatory firing on Friday.

Security sources said the alert security personnel shot dead a suicide bomber who was advancing towards Jarobi check post, while the other bomber blew himself up. Two soldiers were injured in the incident and they were taken to hospital for treatment.

The sources said the bombers were trying to enter the security forces’ camp. A search operation was launched in the area after the incident.
