Three more suspects arrested in Mashal Khan murder case

MARDAN, 17 May: Three more suspects, including a lecturer, have been arrested in Mashal Khan murder case after which the number of arrested suspects in the case has reached 56.

Police said the arrested suspects include Wajid alias Malang, a lecturer at Government Degree College No. 2, and two students Sajid and Jalal. Sajid and Jalal were presented in the anti-terrorism court where they were handed over to police on a four-day physical remand. Lecturer Wajid will be presented in the court today (Wednesday).

Mashal Khan, a student of Journalism Department of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, was killed by an enraged mob on charges of blasphemy on 13 April.
