Third Phase Of NAW Displaced People Repatriation From Afghanistan To Start From Tomorrow
MIRANSHAH, 20 April: The third phase of repatriation of the tribal people who had fled to Afghanistan during military operation against militants in North Waziristan will begin on Friday.
Political agent of the North Waziristan Muhammad Anwar Khan said that lists of the displaced people has been handed over to the elders of displaced during meeting. He said that at least 100 families will bring back from Afghanistan’s khost province to the agency on daily basis.
The people who will return to the agency from Khost belong to Sher Khel, Gulak Khel tribes of teh Ghulam Khan tehsil.
He said that more than 1650 families were bring back in first two phases of the repatriation from Afghanistan to the agency. However, he failed to give exact number of families to be repatriated in third phase.
