Six FC Personnel Injured In IED Blast In Quetta
QUETTA, 02 January: At least six personnel of the Frontier Corps, Balochistan were injured when their vehicle was targeted with an improvised explosive device (IED) on Western Bypass here on Monday, police said.
According to FC spokesman, the personnel were on routine patrol when their vehicle was attacked with the IED planted on roadside.
The vehicle of the forces was also partially damaged in the attack. Soon after the blast, police and FC personnel reached to the site and started evacuating the injured to CMH Quetta, the spokesman added.
Nobody has claimed the responsibility of the attack so far.
