Reception hosted for international cricketers in Swat

SWAT, 18 March: Pavilion Cricket Academy hosted a reception in the honour of three international cricketers in Swat on Friday.

The function held at Grassy Ground was attended by players, local elders and people associated with cricket. The function organiser, Gohar Shah said on the occasion that Imran Khan Junior is part of the current national cricket team, while Hamza Khan is part of the Under-19 team and Muhammad Imran is included in the Under-16 team. He said the inclusion of these players in the national teams is a matter of honour for Swat and Pavilion Cricket Academy.

Muhammad Imran, while talking to TNN, vowed to continue hard work to bring good name for the country.

“I am very thankful to the organisers for hosting this reception. I am also thankful to the elders for coming in our support. Hard work always pays off. The young boys should also work hard on their game to achieve success in cricket career,” he said.
