Pakistan border forces greet Afghan forces on Afghanistan Independence Day

TORKHM, 19 August: Pakistani security forces greeted the Afghan forces at Pak-Afghan Torkham border on the 98th Independence Day of Afghanistan. Pakistani forces also offered floral wreath to Afghan forces.
A ceremony was organized at Torkham border gate on the occasion of 98th Independence Day of Afghanistan. Security forces and large number of local residents attended the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, authorities said that Pakistan and Afghanistan are Muslim brotherly countries. They said that residents of both the countries are in the bonds of similar culture and religion. They stressed on further strengthening of bilateral ties between the two neighboring countries.
