Levies havaldar shot dead in Jamrud

JAMRUD, 17 May: A havaldar of Levies Force was shot dead by unknown miscreants in Sur Kamar area of Jamrud tehsil in Khyber Agency on Tuesday night.

The administration said Havaldar Rehman Gul was going home when unidentified armed men opened fire on him, leaving him critically injured. He was taken to a hospital in Peshawar, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The security forces cordoned off the area after the incident and launched a search operation. However, no arrest was made during the search operation.
