JUI-F organises seminar on effective use of social media in Bannu

BANNU, 17 February: A seminar on the effective use and importance of social media was organised by the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) at Bannu Town Hall on Friday.

Besides the provincial and district leaders of the JUI-F, a large number of youth also participated in the event. The JUI-F district leaders Haji Muhammad Niaz, Qari Abdullah, Maulana Abdur Raziq Mujadadi and provincial secretary information Haji Abdul Jalil Jan said on the occasion that the use of social media is increasing all over the world and its importance could not be overlooked. They said all the political parties are devising strategies to spread their ideologies through the effective use of social media. They said the manifestos of the parties and ideologies are shared with the people through pictures, slogans and other posts on popular social media websites. They said the social media has also become a very effective tool of reaching out to the people due to its easy access and use.

The JUI-F leaders urged the workers to spread the message of the party on the social media and also make the upcoming global gathering of the party from 7-9 April successful.

The JUI-F provincial spokesman Abdul Jalil told TNN that the party wants promotion of discussion under the limits of decency on the social media.

“We want to spread the message of peace and love through the social media. About four billion people are using social media networks and this number is expected to increase in the time to come. The medium of social media should be utilised to bring positive change in the society,” he said.

On the occasion, commendation certificates were awarded to the JUI-F social media team in Bannu and their efforts were highly appreciated by the participants of the event.
