Girl Killed In Shangla Over Filing Police Report Against Father
SHANGLA, 20 April: A 12-year-old girl has been killed by her father and uncle after she went to the police station to file a report against her father.
Naseeb Ranra, mother of the deceased girl, told police that her husband, Noor Muhammad used to beat her and her children frequently. She said her husband recently beat her daughter Gul Naz and cut her hair after which she went to a police station to file a complaint. She said Noor Muhammad was arrested by police on complaint of Gul Naz. She said Noor Muhammad went to Darra Adamkhel after release from jail from where he telephoned his brother Sher Muhammad and asked him to kill Gul Naz.
Naseeb Ranra said Sher Muhammad on the instigation of Noor Muhammad strangulated Gul Naz. Police have arrested both accused and initiated investigation.
