GHS Cantt No1 win the inter-school fifth tug-of-war championship

PESHAWAR, 10 October: Government High School (GHS) Cantt No 1 Peshawar has won the inter-school fifth tug-of-war championship played here at Qayyum Sports Complex on Frdiay.

In the final competition, GHS Cantt No 1 defeated Government High School No 2 Peshawar after a tough competition by 12-9 points and clinched the trophy. The president of provincial Squash Association Qamer Zaman was chief the guest at the final mathc who distributed prizes and trophies among the players.

A total of 20 school teams from district peshawar participated in the event.

    Ms. Fatima, from Kurram Agency, was one of those who lived a satisfied life with the ration and aid her family received from the government. “The ration was a blessing in disguise for us at a time when we had no roof over our heads and my husband was jobless,” she said.
