FATA Football Super League to begin on 27 September
September 12, 2017

PESHAWAR, 12 September: The FATA Football Super League will begin on 27 September at Peshawar’s Qayyum Stadium.

FATA Football Association and FATA Olympic Association president Shahid Khan Shinwari said while talking to media persons at Jinnah Stadium on Monday that 12 teams will participate in the Super League which will be divided into four groups. He said two players each from Indonesia and Malaysia will also participate in the tournament. He said each team will have eight players from FATA and seven players from other cities.

The winners of the tournament will get a cash prize of Rs1.5 million and the winning trophy, while the runners-up will get Rs300,000.

The event will conclude on 10 October.
