DC Mardan directs Nadra to unblock NICs of genuine citizens

MARDAN, 15 July: Deputy Commissioner Mardan on Saturday directed National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) officials to expedite verification process of blocked computerised national identity which created multiple problems for the affectees.
As per details, DC Imran Hamid Sheikh chaired a meeting which was attended by district administrations, Nadra officials and representatives of police and secret agencies. During the meeting, Imran directed Nadra officials to expedite the process of verification of blocked NICs and deciding applications of aggrieved persons at the earliest.
He told Nadra assistant commissioner to unblock NICS of genuine citizens which were blocked merely on suspicion.
