Two More Arrested In Mashal Khan Murder Case
CHARSADDA, 20 April: Two more students of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan have been arrested in connection with the killing of Mashal Khan, a student of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Police said the two persons had been identified from a fresh video circulated on social media in which a group of students can be seen congratulating each other and taking oath from the mob not to disclose the identity of the person who killed Mashal Khan. Mardan Police with the help of intelligence agencies carried out the action in Sardheri area and arrested the two suspects identified as Ishaq Khan and Muhammad Tariq.
Ishaq Khan is stated to be a student and an activist of Pakhthun Students Federation, while Tariq is the student of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Mashal was killed by an enraged mob on blasphemy charges on 13 April.
